Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops
The PASGT is an armor system made for American troops that was designed somewhere in the early-mid 1970's. It was adopted for service in 1983. It consists of a kevlar flak vest and a kevlar helmet. Both the vest and helmet can be fitted with covers in a variety of different camouflages for different environments. Below is a picture of the vest and helmet together.
Inside of the vest is a stencil reading "USS AYLWIN" . The manual is still inside as well
